    What made you watch F1?
I’ve been watching F1 on TV since the era of Satoru Nakajima, Ukyo Katayama, Aguri Suzuki, and Ayrton Senna. I began watching at the circuit when Michael Schumacher came into the scene.
Your upper limit budget for tickets
I had no idea about the upper limit. If I had watched it in overseas countries, it would cost way higher. So, I think it’s OK.
Would you like to buy F1 tickets on a daily basis?
I’d like to watch all three days. So, it doesn’t matter to me basically. I’m afraid that the price of daily-base tickets would become higher.
How did you arrange your hotel? Where do you stay?
Return trip from my home in Shiga Prefecture for all three days.
Means of transportation/time required to/from Suzuka
One and a half hour drive on the highway. I reserve the same parking every year.
Total expenses of the F1 viewing at the circuit
100,000yen for tickets (kids are free). The rest depends on how much we pay for shopping. Usually 150,000yen - 200,000yen including food and shopping.
How do you get the information about F1?
I used to buy many magazines such as “F1-Sokuho” and others. But now, I get most of the information from the internet, Yahoo news, and so on. I also check the social media from drivers or teams.
How did you like the F1 event held in spring?
We often have typhoons in September, direct hit in many cases, so I prefer the Japanese GP to be held in spring. Maybe it’s a little hard to take a day off generally at this time of year (the new fiscal year starts on April 1st. I routinely take a day off for the F1 event every year, so I have no problem with my colleagues or boss (laughs).
Besides the Japanese Grand Prix, which Grand Prix would you like to go to?
I’ve been to Malaysia. I’d like to go to Azerbaijan or any other street circuit race.
Request to Japanese GP (if any)
Increase the number of entertainment programs such as talk shows. I hope more drivers will attend the Eve Festival.
My hometown is highly recommended for foreign tourists
Lake Biwa stands out in Shiga. It has now become a mecca for water sports, and there is also Hikone Castle. It’s very close to Kyoto, making Shiga a great excursion destination.

Your upper limit budget for tickets
Not in particular. I got the ticket for a Q1 seat at the final turn for this time.

I would come all three days. So, I don’t need it.
How did you arrange your hotel? Where do you stay?

Means of transportation/time required to/from Suzuka
    10-minute walk from the parking.

    What made you watch F1?
In 2006, Honda was active in the scene, I watched on TV Jenson Button win a race. That’s when I started liking F1. My father used to watch F1 on terrestrial TV and once said to me, “Have you ever seen a race like this before?” That’s the very beginning.

Besides the Japanese Grand Prix, which Grand Prix would you like to go to?
Melbourne, Australia. I got an image of the race tending to go rough on the street circuit, the weather is fine and the neighboring scenery looks beautiful.
Request to Japanese GP (if any)
Grand stand seats offer the opportunity to watch Eve Festival right in front and also come with the chance to meet drivers very near when they appear for drivers’ parade. I know the ticket price justifies such privileges, however, other less expensive seats should have similar privileges that correspond to each price. How about some surprising attractions on the spot? That would be much fun.

I’ve been in love with F1 all my grown life. I started liking cars or anything that has wheels since I was very small, and we could watch F1 on TV free then. After a short blank, I began watching F1 again from the race that Kamui (Kobayashi) achieved podium finish.
Your upper limit budget for tickets
I paid a lot last year. So, I was thinking a bit less-expensive ticket for this time, maybe around 50,000yen.

In spring, there is a lower possibility of race suspension due to rain. I like it.
Besides the Japanese Grand Prix, which Grand Prix would you like to go to?
We talk about Singapore often as a favorite. As we have a long interval from the Japanese GP now, it’s become more feasible. Spectating the GP twice a year in spring and autumn sounds terrific.

Besides the Japanese Grand Prix, which Grand Prix would you like to go to?
Monaco and Monza. I like Ferrari, not necessarily being the one specialized in F1, and so, I want to feel the enthusiasm of Tifosi in my bones.

SNS manly. I watch Fuji TV NEXT too.
How did you like the F1 event held in spring?
If I wear Kimono, spring is better. I wore Kimono in 2022 to pay respect for Vettel’s last F1 season. Unfortunately, we had rain on the weekend, and I didn’t come on Sunday.
Besides the Japanese Grand Prix, which Grand Prix would you like to go to?
I went to Monaco in 2017. Thinking about Belgium for the next time, but Monaco is the place I always yearn to return.
Request to Japanese GP (if any)
The autograph session should be revived. In Monaco, there are many events and attractions almost everywhere in the venue, and drivers, commentators, or other celebrities are stopping by all the time. It was fun.
My hometown is highly recommended for foreign tourists
Not very many sightseeing spots in Nagoya. The cherry blossoms at Nagoya Castle are recommended this time of year.
