Earthquake Evacuation Procedures
at Suzuka Circuit

Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) at Suzuka Circuit

  1. If an Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) is issued by the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA), Suzuka Circuit will provide guests with information on the expected seismic intensity and the estimated time until strong tremors arrive. Attractions, races, and events may be temporarily suspended.
  2. Earthquake alerts received on guests' mobile devices may vary depending on the device model and network conditions. Please follow the announcements from Suzuka Circuit and the instructions of staff.

Instructions during Earthquake and Evacuation

  1. Please protect yourself until the shaking stops.
  2. Once the shaking has stopped, please follow staff guidance and instructions.
  3. When leaving the viewing areas or indoor facilities, please evacuate calmly to a safe area.

In Case of an Earthquake Early Warning (EEW)

  1. If an Earthquake Early Warning (EEW) is issued, guests will be alerted promptly through announcements or by staff. Please protect yourself immediately.
  2. Stay away from glass, lighting fixtures, and other objects that may fall or break, and ensure your safety.

When Leaving the Viewing Area

  1. Once the facility has been confirmed safe, please evacuate calmly through the nearest exit.
  2. Please hold children's hands and stay close to accompanying members at all times.
  3. Please assist nearby guests with children, injuries, or other who may need help evacuating.

On-site Safety Measures

  1. All necessary safety precautions are taken throughout Suzuka Circuit. However, please be aware that unforeseen damage may occur as a result of earthquakes or other natural disasters. Please check the surrounding conditions and proceed with caution.
  2. All race-viewing facilities, including the V, B, and Q stands, are constructed to meet the seismic requirements of the Building Standards Act.
    Please remain calm and follow staff instructions and guidance.
