[Apology and Notice]
Regarding the issues that occurred during the operation of the "virtual waiting room" for ticket sales of the 2025 F1 Japanese Grand Prix

We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to many customers due to issues that occurred with the operation of the "virtual waiting room" used in our ticket system "MobilityStation" for the ticket sales of the "2025 FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX" starting from October 13, 2024 (Sun).

We have conducted an investigation regarding this issue, and based on the report from the development company of this system, we would like to inform you of the findings that have been determined so far as follows.

About the Incident and Its Cause
(Event 1)
Due to a system malfunction, the "lottery result data creation process" started before it was completed, allowing 443 customers who accessed the sales site after the sales start time to access it before customers who were in the virtual waiting room and were eligible for the lottery.
(Event 2)
Due to the issue in (Event 1), for 13 minutes after the start of sales, a different wait time than the expected wait time allocated by the lottery processing was displayed, and then it switched to displaying the expected wait time allocated by the lottery processing.
*Due to this issue, there have been occurrences where the originally expected wait time of "90 minutes or more" was initially displayed as a shorter wait time, followed by a display of "90 minutes or more," or where the originally expected wait time was short, but it was initially displayed as "90 minutes or more" before showing a shorter wait time.

We take the inconvenience caused to many of our customers due to this issue very seriously, and we will work with the system development company to prevent a recurrence of similar incidents in the future.
