  • At the F1 Japanese Grand Prix, we will challenge a new form of spectator sport that enhances sustainability while enjoying motorsports towards carbon neutrality in 2030.

  • The regular electricity used on the racing course is powered by environmentally friendly sources such as hydroelectric and solar power, making it essentially 100% renewable energy with "Green Denki"※.
    *Electricity that has been CO2 free using the environmental value based on the non-fossil certificate provided by Chubu Electric Power Mirai's Co., Ltd.

    In food and beverage stores, we use plant-based containers and cutlery to reduce disposable plastic and promote recycling by asking for your cooperation in sorting and collecting them.

    Free water stations are available throughout the venue, and you can also use your own water bottle.
  • SUZUKA CIRCUIT has acquired the highest 3-star FIA environmental certification
  • SUZUKA CIRCUIT has achieved the highest level of 3 stars in the environmental certification program of the International Automobile Federation (FIA).

    The FIA Environmental Certification Program evaluates the environmental management of stakeholders in motorsports and the automotive industry around the world based on 17 assessment criteria, and rates their environmental response in three levels. At Suzuka Circuit, our environmental management system for creating a sustainable future, which has been expanding since earning two stars in 2023, has been recognized and we have now achieved the highest rating of three stars.

    In the future, we will continue to accelerate our efforts towards carbon neutrality in motorsports events, and work towards addressing global environmental and social issues by utilizing the GP Field as a practical field for promoting mobility culture and developing human resources.
