The world of motorcycles enjoyed by parents and children.
Children
  1. 1Elementary school students are eligible.
    • If you have taken the First Stage as an elementary school student, you can continue to take classes from the Second Stage and beyond even after becoming a junior high school student.
  2. 2Riding a bicycle with ease (Please use the following as a guide to check your bicycle driving proficiency)
    • Can be driven straight. (Can go in the desired direction)
    • Even at a slow speed that people can walk, you can balance with the handle and run without touching your feet.
      (You can also balance with the handle even when making small curves or turning around.)
    • Be sure to grip the brakes firmly with both hands in case of emergency.
  3. 3During stops, it is recommended to have a height of 120cm or more as it is necessary to support the weight of the motorcycle (50kg) while sitting on it with your own feet. (Equivalent to an adult riding a small motorcycle)
Guardian Those who have a small or larger motorcycle license and can drive without any worries.
If you have a regular driver's license and are able to drive a scooter without any worries, please consult with us beforehand. Thank you for your understanding.

Family Beginner Course

Course Features

This is a course that allows you to experience the joy of driving a real motorcycle.
By sharing the experience of riding a bike together, you can deepen the bond between parent and child.
Parents, become teachers and teach your children about how to operate a motorcycle, the fun of it, and the importance of rules and manners.

  • Learn about motorcycles! (Understanding how motorcycles work)
  • Get ready! (Equipment, exercises, inspections)
  • Let's ride a motorcycle! (Run, turn, stop, ride!)

Participation Requirements

Rider (guardian) and their child (elementary school student who can ride a bicycle).


<Children> Those who can ride a bicycle without training wheels without any worries.


<Guardian> Those who have a license for small or larger motorcycles and can drive without any worries.
For those who have a moped license (regular license) and can drive a scooter without any worries.
※2nd "Participation requirements for the "Parent-Child Enjoy Course" is being able to change gears (rotary type). For those who cannot operate, we recommend learning in the optional course "Papa Mama Gear Challenge".

Parents who have participated in the 1st Introductory Course at Suzuka Circuit with their children.


For those who have only experience with scooters and are planning for their child to challenge a geared bike in the future.

*Children are not allowed to ride motorcycles. *Children should support their parents.

Bikes for HMS (Honda Motorcyclist School) under 400cc*, or GROM. Those with only scooter experience who participated in the "Papa Mama Gear Challenge" can use the SUPER CUB.

* If HMS is being held on the day, customers participating in HMS will have priority in selecting vehicles, so you will ride on a bike that is available.

Course Features

Learn how to change gears by operating the motorcycle's clutch.
When you master hand clutch and foot shift with your parent, you can choose from more bikes.

Participation Requirements

Please complete your application after the 2nd school ends, between 14:30 and 14:40.

Experience participating in the Suzuka Circuit's "2nd Parent and Child Enjoyment Course" and mastering gear changes with the change pedal for both parent and child.


<Children>
3rd grade or above (Children under 3rd grade can participate if they have experience participating in 2nd or higher courses before 2019.) Must be able to straddle a GROM (seat height: 760mm) and support themselves with their feet.
Height of 145cm or above is recommended.


<Guardian>
For those who will challenge a bike with a clutch in the future.

Experience participating in the Suzuka Circuit's "2nd Parent and Child Enjoyment Course" and mastering gear changes with the change pedal for both parent and child.

Must be in at least 3rd grade and have enough experience riding the bike they will be riding.
If you have participated in 2nd or more courses before 2019, even elementary school students can participate.

  • If you have an ID and password, you can make a reservation request from the "Safety School Reservation System".
  • "Even if you are using the "Safety School Reservation System" for the first time, you can use it after registering for a new account."
  • If you are under 20 years old, a signature from your guardian is required on the "Declaration" in the application form.

*Will be held even in rainy weather. (Please bring a raincoat) *Training vehicles will be provided at the Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center.
  • Please pay the participation fee at the reception on the day of the event.
  • We will start accepting registrations 30 minutes before the lesson begins.
To ensure safe participation in the school
  • When participating in school, for safety, please wear protectors to protect your shoulders, elbows, knees, etc.
    (Available at Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center.)
  • Helmets and protectors for children are also available at the Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center.
  • If you are wearing a jacket with built-in pads, please make sure to insert pads with sufficient protective performance.
    In case the instructor deems the pad unsuitable for participation, please wear the protector provided at the Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center.
