Main Training Program
This is the main training program at Suzuka Circuit Traffic Education Center.
Basic ProgramPractical Skills
Basic Procedure Before Driving (Static Practical)
We will inform you about the important points of driving posture and getting on and off, which also contribute to preventing contact accidents.
During vehicle inspection, we will confirm the inspection method based on the internal checklist.
Brake
Confirm the difference in braking distance at speeds of 40-60km/h on asphalt surfaces and the difference in braking distance between asphalt surfaces and low-mu surfaces (equivalent to compressed snow surfaces), and increase awareness of driving speed when driving.
Confirm the effectiveness and avoidance limit of ABS by emergency braking.
How to Measure Vehicle Spacing (Safety Space Verification)
By performing emergency braking in response to simulated jump starts, we will confirm the safe space (following distance) and safe driving speed to prevent rear-end collisions and head-on collisions.
Accident Prevention Training (Including Back Parking)
Understanding the "tricks" that do not rely on experience or intuition is key to preventing accidents.
In addition, we will also confirm the effectiveness of "guidance by passengers" in preventing contact accidents.
Learn the key points for guiding inexperienced junior colleagues and subordinates.
Handling
Practice appropriate acceleration, deceleration, and steering on a course with consecutive S-curves and cranks.
In the second half, we will increase the pace of the race to induce mistakes and make drivers understand the danger of "rushing mentality".
Skid Run
Experience the dangerous behavior of a car when driving on a slippery road surface and performing actions such as "speeding" or "rough driving".
In addition, we will understand the "calm driving" required for operating work vehicles.
Driving Habits Check
In addition to identifying your own weaknesses in driving, you can also confirm the discrepancy between self-evaluation and objective evaluation by the system, become aware of your own challenges, and improve your driving behavior.
Consciousness Side View Verification
Drive on a course with speed settings and pauses, and confirm the differences in driving behavior between "when focusing on driving" and "when driving while thinking".
Night Verification
We will also check the changes in traffic conditions and visibility at night, as well as the differences in weather using the rain equipment.
We will confirm the points to be aware of when driving at night for employees who drive at night.
Basic ProgramClassroom Exercises
Video KYT (Danger Prediction Training)
Increases "danger sensitivity" to predict and avoid potential dangers while driving.
Using the "Honda Video KYT" equipment, we will monitor who, where, and what kind of danger is felt, and aim to improve individual danger sensitivity levels and danger prediction abilities.
Special ProgramPractical Skills
High-speed driving
High-speed braking and high-speed avoidance
Perform emergency braking (ABS braking) from 100-120km/h using the Racing Course.
Confirm the braking distance and behavior of the car during sudden braking in high-speed areas.
Main Line Merge
Check the procedure from using the racing course to merging onto the main line from the emergency parking zone.
We will check if we can merge without affecting the high-speed vehicles coming from behind.
Emergency Run
Simulated Emergency Run
Train how to communicate with surrounding vehicles through simulated emergency driving.
Experience emergency driving in an actual vehicle and confirm the risks and their countermeasures for special execution.
Siren Effect Verification
We will test how the siren of an emergency vehicle sounds to regular cars by changing various situations such as air conditioning and car audio.
