What is Honda Racing School
Suzuka?

We bring up racing riders and racing drivers who will play an active role in world-class motorsport.

Honda Racing School Suzuka (HRS) is the racing school supervised by Honda Racing with the aim of development of racing riders and racing drivers who will be active all over the world.
With the system that allows for seamless instruction from training at school through to actual racing, we aim to develop racing riders and racing drivers not only in their riding and driving skills, but also in the mental strength and humanity required to compete at the top class in the world.

The Japanese motorsports industry plays an important role, including the research and development of high-performance machines and hosting world championships.
As a result, young people from Japan are beginning to excel in motorsports around the world.

Suzuka Circuit, which has hosted motorcycle and automobile motorsports events including Formula1, anticipated the needs in times to come and opened the “Suzuka Circuit Racing School Junior” (currently HRS Suzuka Moto Class) in 1992.
The following year, in 1993, the “Suzuka Circuit Racing School Kart” was established as a developing institute for the next generation of drivers. And in 1995, we started the “Suzuka Circuit Racing School Formula” (currently the HRS Suzuka Formula Class), which was the only professional racing school in Japan at the time with the aim of developing formula drivers.

HRS continues to produce numerous racing riders and racing drivers who compete successfully in the top-tier categories in Europe, Asia, and around the world.

Our school aims to bring up riders who can excel at the IATC*1, which is the gateway to MotoGP™, to move on to become future MotoGPTM riders. In the "Moto Class Basic Course," students will basically be trained at the South Course on a CBR250R to learn the basics. In the following year, students with excellent results will be selected to move on to the Advanced Course. Students will gain a variety of experiences through riding the NSF250R used in the Asia Talent Cup, competing in the Suzuka Sunday Road Racing and engaging in physical training. After that, some of the students with excellent results will be given the opportunity to take on the challenge of competing in the IATC*1 as scholarship students of HRS Suzuka.

The best thing about the Formula class is that the students can drive alongside Honda Racing's top drivers, who compete in various races including Super Formula, and constant support from instructors with extensive international experience. There is a lot to learn from this, and I think there is no better environment to hone yourself. HRS also provides an environment where students can find problems that come up at classes, and improve their level
For drivers who work hard and get good results, the next stage is waiting for them. Even if they don't get strong results here, some students never give up. They continue practicing, applying what they learnt at HRS, and go on to became racing drivers. Let's aim for the world together, betting on your potential!

Step Up FlowAim for the Goal

At HRS Suzuka (Honda Racing School Suzuka), there are two classes: Moto for motorcycles and Formula for automobiles. This school provides comprehensive instruction from training at school to actual racing and develops racing riders and racing drivers. A scholarship system has been introduced each class, and riders and drivers who pass the selection process can move on to Japanese and international categories, aiming to be the best in the world.
